Ihifix is not just another school – it’s a trailblazer in education. We are the first in Africa to fully integrate technology and innovation into a primary/secondary curriculum. Our unique triple-helix model (linking industry partnerships, academic excellence, and a social impact foundation) means your child’s learning is connected directly to the real world. They gain cutting-edge tech skills, mentorship from experts, and opportunities to lead community projects, which are experiences most schools simply don’t offer. In short, we combine world-class academics, 21st-century skills, and character-building in one program. If you want your child to be future-ready and not just book-smart, Ihifix stands out as the obvious choice.
We follow an enhanced British curriculum adapted for Nigeria and enriched with STEM and entrepreneurship content. This means your child learns the same core subjects and competencies as students in top international schools worldwide, with the added benefit of our tech and innovation programs. We are fully registered with the appropriate educational authorities in Nigeria, and we align with international standards. As our students reach key stages, they will be prepared to sit for external examinations like Cambridge Checkpoint, IGCSE, or WAEC/NECO ensuring their education is recognized both locally and globally. Our curriculum is regularly reviewed and accredited by educational quality bodies to maintain the highest standard.
We currently admit students from in Grade 1 (the start of primary school) up through Junior Secondary grades. As a growing institution, we are adding higher grades each year, and our vision is to become a full primary-through-secondary school. If your child is transferring from another school, we can assess placement into the appropriate grade based on academic background.
Technology at Ihifix is an everyday tool, not an occasional treat. In every class, students and teachers leverage tech to enhance learning, from interactive lessons on digital whiteboards to research on tablets. Starting in lower primary, children use age-appropriate educational apps and games that make learning interactive. By upper primary and secondary, students are regularly programming, building robots, creating presentations, and collaborating through online platforms under teacher guidance. We have a one-to-one laptop program for students as they grow (with proper supervision and internet safety controls in place). Importantly, we teach digital literacy and responsibility alongside tech skills so students learn not just to consume technology, but to create with it in a safe and ethical manner.
Our teachers are the heart of Ihifix, and we have carefully selected a team of passionate, highly qualified educators. Each teacher holds relevant teaching certifications and degrees in their subject areas, often with specialized training in STEM or international curricula. Beyond paper qualifications, they are innovators in the classroom, early adopters of new teaching methods and technology tools. We invest heavily in continuous professional development: our teachers regularly attend workshops, training (sometimes with our industry partners), and international conferences to stay at the forefront of education. Just as importantly, they love what they do. They act as mentors and role models, nurturing each child’s potential. With a low student-to-teacher ratio, our staff really get to know every child so they can tailor their approach to fit different learning styles. You can trust that your child is taught by people who are not only experts, but also caring individuals committed to your child’s success.
We offer a rich extracurricular program to ensure students develop talents and interests beyond the classroom. For sports and fitness, students can participate in football (soccer), basketball, and athletics (track and field). We also have mind building games such as Chess, Monopoly and Scrabble. Our aim is to provide a balanced array of activities: some that sharpen the mind, some that exercise the body, and some that nurture creativity. These activities usually occur after school or during designated club times, and we encourage every student to get involved in at least one club or sport. Participation builds teamwork, discipline, and time management skills – plus, it’s a lot of fun and a great way to make friends.
Yes, we do. Through the Ihifix Foundation, we are proud to offer a limited number of scholarships each year. These are awarded based on merit (academic excellence or special talents in areas like coding, science, or leadership) and/or financial need. We believe that deserving students should not be held back due to finances. The scholarship program may cover a portion or, in exceptional cases, the entirety of tuition and fees. To apply, families will need to fill out a scholarship application and potentially have the student undergo additional testing or interviews. We also occasionally have corporate-sponsored scholarships or competitions that grant awards to top performers. Additionally, for families not on scholarship but who need flexibility, we offer installment payment plans and sibling discounts to make our fees more accessible.
The safety of your child is our top priority. We have put comprehensive measures in place to create a secure and nurturing environment. Physically, our campus is secure. A professional security team monitors the gates, and visitors are screened. We have CCTV surveillance in key areas, and all staff are trained in student safety and emergency protocols. We conduct regular drills for fire and other emergencies so everyone knows what to do in case of an incident. On the health side, we maintain a clean campus, and a qualified nurse is on site to handle any health issues or first aid. But safety is not just physical; it’s emotional and psychological too. We enforce a strict anti-bullying policy. Teachers are vigilant and approachable, so if any child feels uneasy, they have trusted adults to turn to. We also offer counseling services: our guidance counselor checks in on students’ emotional well-being and conducts sessions on topics like friendship, stress management, and online safety.
We view parents as partners in the educational journey, and we have multiple channels to keep you involved. First, communication is key so we send updates via digital channels, detailing class highlights, upcoming events, and any announcements. You will receive an official report card each term, but don’t wait for those only because our teachers are very accessible. We encourage you to attend our scheduled Parent-Teacher meetings each term, where you can have one-on-one discussions about your child’s progress. We also have monthly meetings with parents and the school management to give updates to parents and get feedbacks. For day-to-day insights, our online platform (accessible via web or a mobile app) allows you to see homework assignments, feedback from teachers, attendance records, and even some of your child’s work or projects uploaded for you to view. We also host Parent Engagement events – from curriculum nights (where we explain what and how your child is learning) to workshops that help you support learning at home. We find that students thrive best when parents are involved, and at Ihifix we make sure you never feel out of the loop.
Our current tuition fees are competitive with other top-tier schools, given the unique programs we offer. For example, the annual tuition for a primary school student is around ₦600,000 (which can be broken down into three termly payments of about ₦200,000 each), while junior secondary is around ₦900,000 annually (≈₦300,000 per term). In addition to tuition, there are standard fees for resources and materials, which we transparently list in our fee schedule. We absolutely offer payment flexibility: many parents choose to pay term-by-term, and we can arrange monthly payment plans as needed to spread out the cost. We also have sibling discounts (as mentioned above, 5–15% off depending on the number of children). There are no hidden charges as we provide a full breakdown of costs before enrollment. We want to ensure that you can plan financially and feel confident that the quality of education your child receives is well worth the investment. For a detailed breakdown and the most up-to-date fee info, please refer to our “Tuition & Fees” page or contact our billing office. They will gladly walk you through it and answer any specific questions about financial arrangements.
