Inquiry & Application
The journey usually begins with you reaching out by phone, email, or an in-person visit. Our friendly Admissions Team will provide you with an application form online. Complete the application form and submit it along with required documents (birth certificate, recent passport photos, last school report/transcript if transferring, and any relevant medical info). We encourage families to apply early, as spaces are limited and demand is high.
Assessment & Interview
Once we receive your application, we will invite your child for a short entrance assessment. There’s nothing to be afraid of. It’s simply a way for us to understand your child’s current learning level and needs. For primary applicants, it might involve basic literacy and numeracy exercises. For older students, we may include Mathematics, English, and a general aptitude test. On the same day, there will be a casual interaction with the child and parents. Think of it as a friendly interview. We want to get to know your child and give you a chance to ask questions too. This holistic view ensures we can support your child’s transition to Ihifix effectively.
Admission Decision
After the assessment and interview, our admissions committee reviews the results. We typically communicate the admission decision within a few days. If offered a place, you will receive an admission letter/package outlining the next steps.
Enrollment & Onboarding
To secure your child’s spot, you will need to formally enroll by completing acceptance forms and paying a commitment fee (which is usually part of the tuition). We offer flexible payment options (detailed in our Tuition & Fees section) to make this manageable for families. Once enrolled, you will receive our New Family Welcome Kit, including the school calendar and uniform details.
A copy of your child’s birth certificate, National ID or International passport (for age verification).
4 recent passport-sized photographs of the child.
Last academic report card or transcript from the previous school.
Immunization/health records (to ensure we are aware of any medical needs or allergies).
Any diagnostic testing or special education evaluations (if your child has special learning needs, so we can arrange proper support).
Reference letter from previous school (optional, but can be helpful, especially for secondary level transfers).
Technology requirements: Because of our digital curriculum, all students are required to have a personal laptop that meets our minimum specifications (Core i5 processor, 16GB RAM, 2.5 speed, webcam, HDMI etc.). We can guide you on this and even recommend affordable options. We also require every student to have standard headphones and blue light filtering glasses (to protect their eyes during screen time).
Uniforms: Once admitted, uniforms can be purchased through our school store. We will provide a list of required uniform pieces for boys and girls. We take pride in our smart, comfortable uniforms that instill a sense of unity and pride among students.
